This policy applies to the website angelis.no, for which Angelis AS is the data controller.
Processing of personal data in the school platform itself is a different matter: there, the school is the data controller and Angelis AS the data processor. That policy is available in the portal under Help → Terms after logging in at app.angelis.no.
This is a translation. If it differs from the Norwegian version, the Norwegian version applies.
What we collect
The website has no forms, no login and no contact database. We only receive information about you when you contact us yourself, typically by sending an email through the links here. We then process your name, email address and any phone number, together with the content of your enquiry.
In addition, the web server stores technical logs of requests, including IP address, time and which page was requested. This is done for operations, troubleshooting and security.
No tracking
We use no cookies, analytics tools, visitor statistics, advertising pixels or third-party scripts on angelis.no. There is therefore no consent banner to deal with either. See cookies.
Purpose and legal basis
The information is used to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, follow up a dialogue about the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or steps prior to entering into a contract when the enquiry concerns a possible customer relationship (Art. 6(1)(b)). Server logs are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in secure operations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, and no later than after 12 months, unless they form part of a customer relationship and must be retained as part of the agreement or under bookkeeping rules. Server logs are deleted automatically after the provider's standard retention period.
Who we share with
We never sell information and do not share it for marketing. Your email is processed by our email provider, and the website is hosted on Firebase Hosting by Google Ireland Ltd. Both are data processors for Angelis AS, under a data processing agreement, and all storage takes place within the EU/EEA.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete the information we hold about you, and to object to the processing. Contact us at hjelp@angelis.no. If you believe we are processing information in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
Changes
This policy may be updated when the website or the regulations change. The current version is always available here, with the date of the last update at the top.
